My emotional support pet(s) is a ferret. I was informed Puerto Rico does not allow ferrets onto the island. Does this ban apply even.if my ferret is my certified emotional support?

I am disabled but not for hearing.
Even though I did go to my ear Dr and after my test and exam he concluded that I’m losing my hearing and need a hearing aid.

Under U.S. laws, emotional support animals do not have the right to be in places like restaurants. ESAs only have rights for housing and air travel.

The owner did not accept the ESA dog. This created a lot of stress for the owner and myself. We need orientation because we were under the impression that the animal would be accepted.

Under Fair Housing rules landlords cannot restrict an ESA solely because it is a certain breed. As far as air travel, you should check with the airline to see if they have any particular breed bans. In either case, an ESA is not allowed if it is determined to be a health or safety risk to others.
